Nice

Nice

That is a nice stand you got going on there. I wish it could be easier for me to get a nice custom stand, those bowfronts look nice but damn is it hard to find/build a stand for one. I though about using an entertainment center design. Check here for a pic of the design But I'd like to have something that bowed along with the tank. Maybe something similar to that but have the middle portion bow, and then two side portions that are just straight out from where the bow starts. Something like this.

O well, I'll just wait and think some more. Got to work a 20hr shift tomorrow so I'll have alot of down time.

Cool

Cool

Cool, thanks for the input. I think I got a decent design for one like that made right now. Check it out!
As you can see, that person is 5'10". So it's not really tall, the tank sits in the middle. There is a seperate cabinet on the left side, but the bottom-middle, top-middle, and right side would be one single big door. Maybe even have the top-middle be on some hinges so I can open it up without having to open the whole door. It is around 44" wide. The reason I need to do it this way is because the sump tank I just got is longer than my main tank. So the bottom-middle and right-bottom is where it goes, with the pluming going in the right-middle. Basically in the big door is all my plumbing and lighting and the tank, and then in the left cabinet is my storage for dry foods, test kits, whatnot. The whole front is made out of 2" pieces of wood glued together to give it the Bow in the middle as well as the wood panel/ship kind of style. That way it looks kind of like a 17th century ship.

Any other ideas for it?
