DIY Stand for my soon to be 46 BOW!

It is all pine wood...and since these picks i have added the second DOOR... and a box style frame on the swing doors for added trim...and all screws were sanded again on second coat...

I plan on a canopy as well with the same design a curve piece then straight up to the top....

Nice job. Are you going to put a lip on around the top base to cover the aquarium trim?

actually the tank im getting from hans has the wood trim not black...but i will be putting corner pieces on the sides attaching to the canopy...

cool. make sure when you build the hood to make sure you make it high enough to accomodate lighting and fans if needed.

I defintily am i am going to take my time on the canopy and decide what i want to do...I am thinking metal halide and 2 blue atinics but im not sure yet!

I'd go with 2x 150MH over this tank. The top trim piece on the tank has a support that runs over the center of the aquarium and will block a single MH light if the light is centered over the aquarium. If you don't plan on doing any acros in this tank then I would go with VHO's. Lemme know what your plans are for the corals that you'd like to keep in here.
