DIY Sump

What size tank would be of good size to build a sump for my 125 gallon aquarium?

Generally you want at least 1/3 the size of the main tank. The bigger the better though.

I used a 55 for years, it was one of the most stable tanks I had in the store.

I have a 55 that is under my 125. If I could go bigger, I would.

I had a 55 on my 125 for over 12 years. I just recently put a 75 gal sump on it because I added a 90 to the system. You saw it at the last meeting so you know what I'm talking about.
