DIY Wavebox Tutorial from start to finish!

Does anyone know what model to use for a 155 bow ... or even if it will work. 72" x24 high 17" on the ends up to 24 wide in the center XTM any thoughts or Aries70? would like to try
 
Success. I had the pins the exact opposite way. It works great with my 6055. Thanks a lot to all those who helped out.
 
I think the smallest pump thats controllable is the Nano stream 6055. Depending on the size of your wavebox you might be able to tune a smaller wave and also save some space in your tank. I got a 1" wave in my 75 gallon tank with just the 6055 (NO wavebox). But I had to turn off other pumps in the tank to clearly see the effect. Hope others can add to this.

Hey great thread! I have a 8'x30"x30" tank. I would like to go with one box if possible. Can someone recommend a box size and tunze pump size or can I get away with the standard size?

i just built one of these boxes for my friend off of xtm's original post man great thread.....but i ran into a problem and i cant get ahold of him, does anyone know what size hole needs to be drilled for the 6100?????i don't have the stream to measure it also the heigth that it would need to be drilled at?????thanks in advance.....

I am having a problem finding the .47uF capacitor. Radio shack only had a .22 and I can't find one on AllElectronics.com. Can anyone post a link to one? Thanks!
 
In his photo it looks like he has soldered some stuff to the underside of the board. Does anyone have a picture to show me? I am completely retarted when it comes to building circuit boards. This is my first

sorry man I don't have the measurements, but the 6100 should be the same size as the other Tunze streams not named "nanostreams".

I am having the same problem.
 
Can anyone provide me with a complete list of the things I need? I know XTM gave a list at the beginning of the thread but he didn't mention the voltages for each component. I am electronically challenged and I don't know what I'm doing. Help appreciated!
