I am about to convert my 120g freshwater to a reef salt tank. Im currently in college and dont have over $1000 for everything so im trying to save where i can. I have a 29 gallon aquarium laying around and wanted to make it into a wet dry/ sump filter. I saw this really cool video on youtube about making a cheap one but he didnt explain how well it would work on a salt tank. i know that ill need a protein skimmer and a return pump but i was just wondering if this would work or not. ill attach the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJtE6JlD7Xg
