what does everyone keep their alk at mine right now is at 7.5dkh or 3.0 meg/l my ph is running right at 8.0to 8.1

I keep mine a little higher than that, but I think your fine at that level. Mine is 9-10 dkh, and ph 8-8.2

yeah im dosing each morning a more at a time to bring it up slowly i know im in the right ball park not to low but would like to get it around 9 or so

Depends on what you keep in the tank also. Many that have SPS dominant tanks claim that keeping the alk a little lower is better for the health of the animals, though I'm not sure why.

my dkh runs about at or slightly below 9.
