Nah, just one Tang.. IMO one can't go wrong with a oversized skimmer... :thumbsup:

I'm considering a LeeMar tank right now too. How would you rate their build quality? Just to let you know I've been spoiled by having an Elos tank and their quality is amazing.

Also curious about the recessed lip on your bracing. Is there a reason for this or did you design it that way?
 
Dominic, what is the growth rate on the milli madness? I got a browned out frag a few months ago. It colored up nicely, but it hasnt grown very fast. Im comparing the growth rate to some common millis that ive had in the past.

BTW. Congrats on the new tank...

the quality is great, better then I expected, I have not seen a elos tank in person so cant comment on that, but I'm very happy with my decision, I think the Recessed lip is just the way they build them, I have a buddy who got a leemar tank and its euro bracing is the same way..

EDIT: went through some Emails, they asked me Flush or Recessed on the bracing, I said Recessed.... :D

Compared to my Palmer's, it is some what Slow.. My Palmer's is twice the size of my MM.. would you happened to have a pic of the MM? I would like to see it's color and the lighting its under, PM it to me if possible.. thanks..

sorry for the delay... The 45 is doing good, getting really crowded but I hope not for long, I got the upgrade tank up and running and is on day 10 of the Zeovit Cycle, I'll start a new thread.. Hopefully all corals will be transferred over to the new tank later this month... :D
 
I'm kinda behind the times on this one but I love your 45G. I'm usin this one as the inspiration for my new system build. I have a 40G cube (sumpless) that is being replaced with a 50G of similar dimensions.

The shorter dimensions of the stand have basically limited me to using a 10G or 15G tall as a sump and I'm not quite sure how to set it up, especially with my Vertex skimmer crammed in there. What were the dimensions of your sump and how did you have it configured? Did you have enough room for a fuge?
 
Heya.. the sump I ran on this tank was a 20Tall I did have a fuge in it at the early stages of the tank, but removed it and went with a bigger skimmer...
 
Sorry in lost my colony during a tank transfer and the one I have isn't big enough to frag yet... You might be able to try Exotic frags
