Do all birdsnests have polyps?

So I bought a birdsnest frag so I am truly sure what kind it is. Since I bought it has grown a ton but it has never had polyps. I was just curious if that was something that every birdsnest had or if I got one that will never have polyps?
Thanks

Mine has polyps, just very very tiny ones.

Yes they all do.. And I see tons in that picture you posted

Ironic that part of your screen name is glasses...it might be time for some :p

The brown you are seeing are it’s polyps. Tiny ones. If something started eating it like an angelfish, you would see pure white skeleton. May need a magnifying glass to make out the individual polyps, but they are there.

haha mcgyvr. You are probably right. I guess when I looked at all the pictures online of birdsnest corals the polyps were much more defined so that is what I was looking for. Thanks for the heads up.
