Do any of you SPSers keep a DSB?

Hey guys,

I want to keep an SPS dominated tank but I have a 4-5" DSB. Do you think I'll be able to get enough flow in there without disturbing the sand? The tank is a 90.

Do any of you guys have DSB's?

many, many sps only reefers keep a dsb....it's the type and direction of flow thats the trick

I'm a corner bowfront with a single sea swirl mounted at the apex, and I have a dsb. Corals grow, both lps and sps. It stays active enough (52 gal with a 9.5 mag) that my nanofish struggle when the current sweeps by. Good for their health, I think.

i also have a dsb. i'm running 1200gph closed loop 400gph return and maxijet 900 with the maximod all in a 40g breeder. its all about how you possition your flow. good luck

4" DSB here, with about 42X turnover.

i run a 3' DSB with about 22x turnover in a 55 gallon. Only sand problems is with my wrasse showing off because someone comes towards the tank.

I have a dsb, a closed loop with a manifold powered by a Dart pump.

I have 5000+ gph of flow, so you'll be fine.

I used to have one in my 120g, and I plan on adding a remote DSB to my current tank.
