Do Blue Dot Jawfish Jump?

Thinking of bringing one home but can anyone tell me how prone to jumping and getting ich they are?

IME very prone to both. They are known jumpers, and although not ich, they seem to be highly susceptible to some form of bacterial or fungal infection. I have purchased 5 over the years (as they are my all time favorite fish) and all have succumbed to disease shortly after introduction.

I have had many of them and never had one that did "not" jump out

I would do some formalin dips to prevent the infection they are prone to getting.
