Do BSJF Get Picked On?

Say your tank was pretty much full, but you wanted to add one more fish. You have the usual suspects - butterflies, small angels (flame, regal), a percula clown, a tang, and a sunrise dottyback.

If you added a bsjf (after quarantine), would it get picked on by the other fish or does it occupy such a different niche that they would ignore it? The only existing fish that spends much time around the sand and lower parts of the rockwork is the dottyback. It hasn't shown aggression against any of the other fish in the year it has been in the tank. There is some digging around the base of the rockwork in a couple of places, which I assume is the work of the dottyback.

Do you think that, because the bsjf will build a cave at the base of one of the rocks, the dottyback will attack the bsjf or keep it from eating? How about the tang, just because it is a tang?

I've read they are shy/timid and easily spooked. It is recommended that they be added first in order to establish their territory and get comfortable. They are also prone to jumping and will more likely jump with more things about to spook them. This is just a recommendation I've read in several places...I don't think there is any absolute proclusion to adding one later. I'm not sure if the other fish pick on them or they are just a very paranoid type.

Speaking from experience, I would not do it if the jaw is the last fish in the tank. I'm getting ready to add my trio to the fowlr and it requires me removing everyone from the tank, changing all the rock and getting rid of 6 fish... lol the wife thinks i'm crazy...

also get rid of the dottyback. it will stress the jaw.

My experience is with pearly jaws, and they just were not comfortable in a tank with lots of big fish.
