Do BTAs sting/kill/harm each other?

After placing the one i got from LA, my OBTA shrivelled up. at first i thought it was purging water from its system and such as it ate a silverside last night, but i noticed the foot was barely hanging on the underside of the rock.
i panicked and placed him in another tank thinking it was the purple bta stinging/disturbing him. did i do the right thing?
do btas sting each other or can they co exist?

Yea, as I stated in that other thread, I kept RBTAs and GBTAs in the same tank for over a year -- they would even touch with no ill effects.

And to add to that, I have two Haddoniis in the same tank and two LTAs in the same tank -- different tanks from each other --- with no ill effects.

i have over 12 bta's in the same tank [they keep splitting] they are fine together

thanks for the information. its still....the purple bta and the rbta i have look so different....
