do clowns hosting in a nem spawn on foot or rocks

Stuoid quest but... Do the clowns lay eggs on the nems foot or on a rock near the foot???

On the rock (or whatever hard substrate they choose--glass, pvc, etc)

ok, heard placing a piece if ceramic tile in spawn sight is a good idea so it can be removed just b4 eggs hatch. Guess ill place a couple around the nems foot and rocks.
