do clowns need a anemones

nope, not necessary. they'll end up finding lots of alternative things to host them--ie. frogspawns, a patch of xenia, even a powerhead. totally not necessary for clowns to be happy or spawn.

My clowns have never hosted. They prefer to roam around the tank.

that's right my 2 percs don't even notice my RBTA. and that's the way it's been since I put the bta in the tank over a year ago
