Do corals feed on phyto??

Does anyone have any references (legitimate references) indicating that corals do or do not feed on phytoplankton? Or even an indication that certain species do or do not??

i dont have back up but i heard from very knowledgeable people that SPS corals do not feed on phyto, but they feed on rotifers.
