Do Decorator Crabs Molt?

I've had two healthy decorator crabs(look like tarantula spiders) for 8 months or so and they have never molted.All my other types of crabs/shrimp have molted countless times.Anyone know if these molt or not?

Yes, any crab or crustacean would molt, how often they do would of course depend on their speed of growth and diet. Yours may be molting and you are just missing the event or unable to see/find the shed?

Typically they hide in the rocks while they molt, wait for the carapace to harden, and re-attach their camouflage. Chuck's probably right that you're just not seeing the event or shed skin.
