Do dwarf/medium angels eat macro algae?

I'm looking for an angel for my 90g tank which is full of macro algaes. The ones I am most interested in are lemonpeel, flagfin, heraldi, flame, and coral beauty. I hope someone has first hand experience because all my research has only come up with whether or not they eat corals, which I don't have. The macros I have consist of a few species of Caulerpa, Halimeda, gracilaria hayi, and a few other small pieces.

Thank you!

At one time or another, I have had 4 of the 5 angels you've listed (( never kept a flagfin )), none of them have touched macro algae. Sure they will eat algae off the rocks and nori, but not macro.

My flame from years ago -- never touched the stuff;

Thanks Todd. What macro besides Halimeda were they housed with?

Some Caulerpa --- grape and leaf.

And some other macro that I don't really know what it is. Almost looks like a leaf of spinach to be honest -- of course I know that it isn't that, but best way to describe it as.

Can sort of see it here --- dead center, dark green. Right not it is pretty much covered in xenia, but still growing. Have had the stuff for 5+ years now, popped up on some liverock.

Thank you for your experiences Todd, much appreciated.

Does anyone else have info to share? I think the flagfin is my #1 pick as of right now.

Thank you trackhazard, I actually don't have any halymenia right now but my gracilaria hayi is similar...
