Do Eunice Worms click?

I stupidly didn't quaranteen a new piece of LR with some mushrooms on it due to my quaranteen tank having high Nitrites. a couple of hours later was admiring the new edition when I spotted something large and segmented quickly dash under one of the mushrooms and disapear into the rock. Spent the evening with torch trying to spot the bugger. I large brownish worm came out of another rock which had tenticles on it's head. I hadn't spotted him on any of my previous nights on knees with torch. I think maybe a Eunice Worm?

Every since then there has been a random clicking sound which as of yet I haven't been able to locate. Has anyone heard of a Eunice Worm every clicking or anything else other than mantis producing such random clicking sounds. No mantis please god!

Have checked livestock each morning, no hermits or fish gone, so bit confused!

It's likely a pistol shrimp, not a mantis.
