Do fish normally like NLS HEX Shield pellets?

Do fish actually like to eat NLS HEX Shield pellets?

My percula acted for a while now as if something is bothering them and had a bit stringy poop within the last few days. So I decided to give NLS HEX Shield pellets a try.
This morning when I fed the pellets to them for the first time they ate them pretty well until they seemed to be full.
The fridmani, who are normaly pretty good in taken everything offered, were going after the pellets too but didn't seem to be too exited about them - they spat them out, took them again and may or may not have eaten them (couldn't tell because they went into the rocks)
The gobies took every pellet that made it down to them.

When I tried to feed the pellets this evening no one would eat them: the fridmani spat them out immediately after taking them and didn't take them again. The percula would just swim towards them, smell them and turn around and ignore all further offerings.

Well, for the next few days I will only feed these pellets - they either eat them or go hungry...

But is this normal or do fish normally eat these pellets without a problem?

So for three days I didn't feed anything but these pellets.
In the end the fish where reacting as if these pellets actually hurt them - after taking on they spit them out extremely fast and acted as if I fed them extra hot jalapeno peppers concentrate.
The only ones that were taking one or two in the end were the percula, and only because they were starving.
The fridmani wouldn't swallow any of them and they are normally my most indiscriminate eaters - if it's food they eat it.
