Do I have a faulty Photo Cell?

I have recently picked up a Tunze TS24 stream with the 7095 computer controller.

The streams are working perfectly but I have an issue concerning the night mode.

From what I can gather in another "night mode" thread on this forum, I am meant to set the "day" stream-strength by adjusting the top knobs (ch1/ch2) whilst the bottom respective two are for the "night" setting.

This is where the difficulty starts. No matter what setting I set the top/bottom to, the streams use the bottom setting. Also, the moonlight is constantly on, should I switch to "night & moon".

Is this a faulty light-sensor? In which case, do I need to return the entire computer for repair/replacement?

Many thanks for any responses and assistance on this matter.

Hmmm, an odd thing occurred this morning.

It seems to be working. Working way different from what it was doing all day yesterday.

Moonlight has decided to switch itself off (after the actinics came on) and the speed is set for Pulse mode and it alternating between 1a/2a and 1b/2b, respectively.

Not faulty, after all.

Unless Tunze have introduced self-healing components. :bum:

When I set up mine I had a bit of trouble because it kept turning around so the photocell was facing down and not getting light. Sounds like something similar happened in this case.
