Are these red bugs? I just saw them today and I recently added a bunch of corals.

Weren't there some black bugs people were finding on Monti's? Kinda looks like that, but I don't know if anyone ever found them to be bad or not. Definitly not red bugs as bbspiderman said.

There is also a white bug as well (no joke) on montis that interceptor takes care of. I experienced them a few months ago and no they were not nudis.

If I remove just those 2 corals do you think it would solve the problem without using interceptor?

Use the interceptor. Don't chace the problem, take care of it oncce and for all. Interceptor is very easy to dose your tank with and you might just see bett PE from all your corals afterwards. If your going to take somethig out inverts should come out before treatment.

BTW: The second pic sort of looks like it could be a flat worm on the coral, it's hard to tell from the pic but they are translucent, pare shaped (sometimes) and have a faint centerline. The form to the corals new the undersides and bottoms. Though I don't see the tell tale signs of coral being eaten so maybe it's just something in the pic or the way the corals is growing but keep that in mind to look on others.

in that case I reall nee dto get my hand on one. I spoke to a friend who says I need to get it from a vet. How do I do that?

Post in the other forum ( cafe ) since most people there will be local and ask who has one to spare...

It does require a prescription, and I believe there are policies here that restrict requests for medication from others. I was able to talk to a vet and obtain some with little issue. I brought this print outs with me, including some pictures of the pest (you'll have to search for your own, those I had are no longer hosted online).
