Hi all, I have a 16 gallon half moon tank that is 22 inches deep. I am looking to get and anemone now that I have a tank that has been 1 yr+ established.

My question is how much led lighting will I need? I have been looking at one that is 12 3watt Led's and want to know if it will be enough.

Each LED is about 90-100 Lumens. so a total of 1200 lumens for a 16 gal.

Is that enough to keep a Ritteri anemone?
Thanks!!!!

Ive got a 15 gal sump though and check perameters daily if itd make any difference.

what about a bubble tip? or anemone period, is the light enough?

Yeah I know, I plan on basically switching it out with smaller ones every two months or so.

ANYWHO....... So how about whether the light will be enough???? .....22 inches deep... 12 3watt led's 90-100 lumens each.... Do I need more or less?

You will probably have plenty of light. If you can, try and get dimmable ballasts and go with a 2:1 blue/white ratio. Look into Maxi Mini carpet anemones. Much more addictive, but they aren't hosting anemones. I frickin love mine.
