Do I have hair algae?

I got some of this green long hair-like stuff growing in my tank. It is hair algae? What did I do or not do to get it?

have you been keeping and eye on your phosphates?

i had a some, but it seemed like most went away after i changed my bulbs...and the rest went away after i got the scat. he thinks its delicious.

Its likely either hair algae, or diatoms... You didn't do anything to get it... Its probably still part of your tank cycling... There was a bit on the rock that you put in your tank, so with your tank cycling, it likely just grew a bit... After you get your nitrates and phosphates down, it will likely subside... Oh, and when you get in the reeftopia order...
