Do I have room for an anemone?

I am looking in particular the Heteractis crispa anemone. Here is where I am at:
The tank is loaded with SPS with no sand, will placement on the rock work/bottom of tank work longterm? Basically I know the tank will provide a more than suitable environment as far as water clarity is concerned, but the space is not ideal. I am mostly worried about the neighboring corals... Here is a pic of my tank, I am thinking placement on the right side or where the clam/sun coral are at. Am I out of luck, any suggestions or a nem that will work?

mine stuck right where i put it and it hasnt move from that spot in months but yours might want to move so it is kinda a 50/50 thing.

it's actually more of an 80/20 thing, with odds in favor of it moving.

Also, don't Crispa's like sand?

That is why I am asking, I figured I would ask here before I go out and buy something that will be a serious problem for me.

I agree with GMSguy. I am specifically setting up a Crispa tank only that was custom built because my Crispa is getting to big for my corner in my 55 gallon tank. Not to mention, they are sand dwellers and that could cause your Crispa to stress or to be constantly on the move.

i think if you could isolate a BTA on bottom away from the island you would be ok the anemone will sting anything in its range.

In your setup it would be hard to squeeze an anemone in there if your having a tank pre-dominated by sps corals. It is possible to have a BTA but you would have to put it on its own little island to the far right on its own rock.

I think I will setup a anemone only tank then. Right now I have a single polymnus clown that I am thinking about trying to pair up with another before I get an anemone. I have a 18g tall tank that I would like to setup like a vertical gyre type of flow using a SEIO 620. What do you think about that type of setup? Would that be good for an anemone? I am thinking only a sandbed, no liverock in the display with a nem and a pair of clowns.

No, an 18 gallon tall would not be good for a H. Crispa anemone. You need a tank with the right demensions so your Crispa could grow without becoming cramped. If you get a custom built tank you could do a 30 gallon like what I am doing. I ordered a custom tank with the demensions of 20 wide, 18 tall and 20 long. It approximates up to 30.2 gallons. However, for more water stablilty, I am having a 20 gallon long as my sump so I can have more water volume.
