Do I need to i need to treat your acros for parasites?

I just ordered a number of acro frags from your aquacultured stock. I have had redbugs before and would like to avoid them and any other parasites at all costs.

I understand wild and maricultured stock might be more of a risk. What measures do you have in place to prevent parasites from spreading via your aquaculture stock? Do I need to worry about dips and quarantine?

shelburn61,

Thank you for your post. The brood stock we have is quarantined and treated with medications before being placed into our isolated propagation area. They are thoroughly inspected for any signs of diseases and bugs before being placed into holding tanks. When receiving corals or any livestock we do recommend placing the specimen into a quarantine tank before they are introduced into your main aquarium.
