Do I need to rescue these zoos?

I wanted to keep some GSP from taking over my tank so I made a pillar with the GSP on top and placed some zoos around the base. Now the GSP has started to creep down the pillar and I need to know if the zoos can fend off the GSP or if I should try to move them to a safer place. Here are a couple of pics:

And a close up of a zoo sort of leaning away from the advancing GSP.

So what do you think? Will the GSP overrun the zoos or will they fight back?

I would move them. The GSP will grow over them and kill them.

Yikes! WHy make them fight if you have room? I'd move em, too. Frag out the GSP and give it to a friend if you are worried about it taking over.

I was trying to make an interesting piece by combining them and possibly throwing some shrooms on it like this piece I saw:

I thought it looked really cool but it does seem like the GSP just marches over stuff. Guess I need to take the zoos off and be happy with a pillar of GSP - not really a bad thing.

Yes frag the GSP will KILL the zoas.

I only keep mine on a rock on the sand they spread out and form a mat then i can cut off some for others that want it

Thanks for the advice. I moved them away from the all-blanketing GSP.
