Do linkia starfish eat cyano?

I know they eat bio film and algae, but want to ensure cyano falls into that category also since it is a biological bacteria.

Nobody's quite certain what they eat. Unless you have a highly established and very large tank, don't buy one.
Cyano is toxic, I don't think anything is going to eat it. You should try to get rid of it another way.

You would be surprised how many things linkia eats... just have lots of patience and feed it, you will eventually get a feeding response as Gogo7 did and as I did today after 4 days of keeping this orange linkia... http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2488914
