Do magnificent foxface nip at corals?

I am getting a 3.5" magnificent tomorrow and I've heard that some may nip at corals, especially polyps.

What are your experiences? Thanks

I have 2, my smaller one (2 1/2") is perfect. My larger one (4 1/2") likes to nip at some corals. He has a favorite cap that he seems to always be nipping at. As long as he just stays on the cap I am fine with him Good luck I love mine

I dont have a magnificent foxface but i do have a one-spot foxface. He is about 5 inches and he has not touched any of my corals yet. I do have zoos in my tank and when i first put him he nipped at one and he spit it out. He never bit one again after that. Good Luck hope this helps.

I've had mine for 14 months in my 210. He's around 6" and Ive never seen him nip any corals in the tank.
Corals are mostly lps, several frogspawn/hammers, trumpets and candycane,2 brains, some caps, and 1 sps, and several shrooms

If they are well fed they most likely will not nip. If they are NOT well fed, they sometimes do.

Maybe I am one of the few that got one that happens to like coral polyps I do feed very well, (3-4 times a day) he will be big & fat from eating & go right to his favorite cap. Oh well I like him to much to get rid of him.

Don't worry about me and feeding. I like nitrates in my SPS tank
