do mantis shrimp eat pods?

was thinking of putting one in a large refugium. will they eat any of the critters in there?

Pods, probly not. The smallest smashers may. On roy's list if it says will eat macroplankton or something like that your pod might be gone. With larger species such as N. wennerae I have trouble immagining them pod killing

i was going to get a peacock mantis and im pretty sure they dont eat pods but thought id double check. thanks

They most definitely will eat amphipods as long as they can pick them up. A 3 inch gonodactylid would have no problem taking 1/8 th inch amphipods - and several in one sitting.
