Do mushrooms like to be in the flow?

I ust recieved a couple of free frags of red and green hairy mushrooms and I am trying to find the right spot in the aquarium to place them. The green frag is doing great. I am having trouble with the reds. I have tried to place them high near the light and where most of the water flow is and I have tried to place them low with less light and less current. They just don't seem to stay open for more that am hour at a time. They spend most of the day only halfway open. They have been in the tank for 48 hrs and all of the water parameters are within range, except the calcium is low at 360 (I am working on that). I have a 46 hex with PC lighting. The tank has been running for 2 years as a FOWLR. These are the first corals in the tank.

Should I just wait and see what happens or is the a preferrable spot to place them?

Thanks,

most LPS prefer low flow. PC lighting is best. ive had shrooms that didnt open for a week when first introduced. good luck & REEF-ON!!!

i find the reds to be tricky, i get mixed opinons on them, whether they like high or low light though there is one thing that is for sure about them and that is low flow.
