do my fish have ich i need a ID check

Nitrite and nitrate are not a concern with marine fish. Levels would have to be extremely high (hundreds of PPM) to have any measurable impact.

I not agree it depend of the fishes species. For example angels are very sensible to it. Why most of angel has fins or skin disorder ? I d like to say because most of the time they stayed into not optimal water condition in exporter warehouse, lfs or in your tank.

None of my angels ever had a skin or fin disorder - not sure what you are referring to.

In regards to the chemistry, there is real science that shows us that nitrite/nitrate requires extreme amounts to have a harmful impact on marine fish. I trust this(and I recommend the OP to do the same), much more than anecdotal claims about angles fins being damaged by nitrite/nitrate.

I'll add that I've had angels in tank water with >300ppm nitrates for months, without any negative impact.

Yes it s perfectly possible but did they acclimate slowly to the nitrite or did it rise quickly ? If it s a slow rise it s will not cause major stress... But if you drop an angel from sea directly to a 300 ppm nitrate tank believe me the angel not gonna like it !

Sorry, this fish was actually dropped directly into this water. And as you said, from the time it came from the ocean, to the time it got in my tank, it was likely in water just as 'bad'.

Ok please share your source stating no2 are not toxic for marine fishes i m very curious about it

Please keep in mind that nitrite and nitrate are different chemicals.

For no2(nitrite) see the link from comment #24. This article by Randy Holmes-Farley lays it out fairly well and is chock full of references to peer-reviewed studies.

Fear of nitrite comes from the freshwater fish industry/hobby - freshwater fish will die quickly in the presence of nitrite.

Just to be clear, I am not advocating putting fish into dirty water, but from experience, and from published peer reviewed studies, these chemicals are not dangerous to marine fish health.
