i just added 2 very small bristle worms to the tank(55gal) to help with the clean up crew.

has anyone intentionally added them?
if so why?

and if not why not?

I would never pay for one but if I notice one in a filter sock during changes I always toss the worm back in the tank.

I've added them from one tank to another as they do a good job, although if i see one with my little seahorses it gets moved to the connected tank.

Yes. I purchased a det kit from inland aquatics in indiana which included a dozen bristleworms and 4 hair worms. Great for your tank.

i think they are a great addition! but i have heard a lot of conflicting stories so i was just wondering. anymore input would be great

I bought baby ones before from IPSF.com for a tank that didn't have any. I'm thinking I might have to buy some again, since I have none in this tank and haven't added anything yet to get any hitchhikers LOL.
