Do RTBA's only split??

I have some very small possible RTBA's 3-4 on a new Piece of LR I received from a guy who had a RTBA. So they only split to reproduce or can I have some babies on my live rock? Thanks in advance....Carl.

It's unlikely they're RBTA offspring but a picture would be a big help. Do a search on pseudocorynactis and see if that looks like what you've got.

Don't they also "bud"? THis is when they make a small nem off their oral disk or foot area, I think.

You know you're a 'nem addict when...

You don't have hitchhiker 'nems to identify but you still go look this up to see what they are. And spend half an hour going "Oooooh. Pretty!" :D

They are pretty, just not BTAs.

I did not have to look them up, I had them in my tank, so the guess was easy. :)

Sorry not getting back right away...Tankd for all the responces...Gonna go get some pics...Wait one. :)

I don't think so, Although there're small, they have definite bubble tips on them...Picture kinda shows that. I guess I'll feed and see what happens. I got a couple of younger Percula Clowns that will love them if they are. :) Carl

Cool. Keep the thread updated, interested to see how they do. :)

We have a couple of hitchhiker 'nems in our 75g that I don't mind staying, but after figuring out they are probably a Telmatactis sp. that might pack a wallop, I make sure to give 'em a wide berth when working in the tank.

Well, the guy I got the rock from loves the Anemone so it would be cool to get a piece :) I squirted a little ROD food at the three I can see, they seemed to eat...I will keep posted. Any other thoughts? Carl
