do sea horses change color?

i have two male adult H. reidi which are brown and black-grayish. one of them turns gray-silver and the other ones stripes on its back turn cream color when i feed them. i was wondering if it is possible for them to turn yellow if i have a yellow fake coral for them to latch on to. i have a planted tank with live rock in which they blend in perfectly. would they do the same with the yellow coral? the guy i bought them from said that one of them was yellow in his tank.

they change colors for many reasons, mood, enviroment, tank conditions..

but would my brown-black ones be able to change into a yellow? or is that only certain sub-species of reidi? or are they all the same species? if so, how can get them to change to a yellow?
