Seems your short on real answers sixlines are hit or miss in what they eat. I can tell you I have had great luck with a Christmas wrasse. First he ate my flatworms and then the pyrimid snails. I could suction twenty to thirty a night and not make a dent now I can't find one of either.

Sixlines will eat pyrimid snails, and baby stomatella's, and pods. Mine frequently checks my clam's scutes for whatever might be hiding there. Unfortunately pyrimid snails are most active at night when the wrasse is cocooned. So the best way I've found to eliminate them is to remove the clams from the tank and pick the snails off myself.
