Do they look normal?

They looked like this when I first got them.. Except the Duncan has gone from 5 head to 8 in about 6 weeks

Even the frog spawn? Why does it look so sprawled out with skinny arms instead of a ball shape with fat arms?

Yeah I did a little bit ago and it just would not eat it then after giving it the my sis for the Ruth times it ate it.. Still looks the same..

Both look very happy. Growth is especially indicative that the duncan is happy

I'm going to tag along here, I have a hammer that looks like your frogspawn, all stretched out and such. Wanna see what others have to say...

I have a few frogspawn, 6 different ones to be exact. Ive noticed when a head of my frogspawn are about to split into 2 heads they will spread open like yours. I had one do this just a few days ago. Ive also noticed my corals will just have off days some time. As long as they look inflated and no skeleton is showing it wouldnt concern me.

I think I see 2 new heads coming in on the frog spawn but not for sure.. There are 2 slightly raised bumps at the base of it's flesh and the center of the bumps are turning green... The frog spawn has been slowly growing it's skin down over the glue from when it was fragged.. I was thinking the same that if they a 're growing they should be fine but my cousin who has been doing it for years had me all scared about my Duncan..

And my frog spawn scared me cuz every pic I have seen of them I could not find one stretched out light that.. Thanks guys for the opinions

Well that makes me feel much better .. This issue till some what new to me n I'm learning stuff all the time .. Never thought I would love this as much as I do... Its just hard when I work 3rd shift full time... I just checked on the tank mates n the frog spawn looks much better. Maybe the my sis yesterday made him a little happier but we will see a little later... So you said they can look like that when they split?
What else Will happen of that is what it's doing?

Well all turns out my frog spawn was acting weird cuz it's splitting.. Noticed yesterday that it was forming a bubble at the mouth n today when I looked at the skeleto. You can see where it is pinching and starting to push in where it will become 2... So relieved and excited...

Awesome Abyrd92! I had a hammer do the same thing about a month ago. Almost two sep heads now.

When I first started in the hobby a few years ago I was doing top offs with saltwater. As my salinity rose my lps, Duncan and frogspawn specifically, began to swell up like that. Maybe check your salinity and make sure your hydrometer is clean and accurate or use a refractometer.

Well update .. The frog spawn is now 2 separate heads and puffy again not stringy. It also pushed about 7 baby's out of its skirt!!

As for my Duncan it doesn't really swell like that much anymore since I stopped feeding it 2 times a week I'm down to like 1 time every 2 weeks if that.. It has gone from 5 heads to 8 full sized head 2 nickle sized ones and 1 dime sized.. With 2 new heads forming..
