Do you acclimate your macro?

Wondering this cause until today I've never ordered any. All of the macro that I have has hitchhiked it's way in. Just ordered some chaeto and when it arrives should I acclimate to ensure that it takes off the way I want it to?

I don't. I just drop it in

Some macros, Caulerpa for example are fairly sensative to rapid SG changes and should be acclimated. Others like cheato have been shown to take a freshwater dip and do just fine. Much of the algae which sprouts from LR comes in as dormant spores which are much less sensative to environmental changes than the plant itself.
