Do you guys feed your ORA black/white maximas?

I just got a ORA black/white maxima from my lfs and she is around 2.5-3" or so. I am thinking about putting it in a seperate container a few times a week and feeding it phyto. What do you guys recommend? Here is the obligatory pic:

Sang, wrong picture. Dang I have been waiting to get a ORA Black and White T max for a while. Lucky you :D.

Yeah, I got super lucky today. I went to my lfs because my friend said they got in an ORA shipment last week. I had no idea they had this clam. It was just sitting there for a week. Needless to say, I bought it! The pic should be working now.

strong light is all it needs (along with dissolved nutrients from the water). clams do filter from the water but they dont feed in gulps. what i mean by that is, putting a clam in a bowl with a high concentration of phyto. the clam may clear the water some but its not going to eat most of it. its just going to excrete it back into the tank when you return it.

Nope, I don't feed mine other than the light and what's already in the water.

Mind if I ask which shop it's from? ATL?

My ORA "zebra" maxi was 425 but it was about 6". I think there's more than one type of black/white maxi coming from ORA though.
I had asked Ming to get me one like yours a while ago, so that's why I thought you got it from him. :)

Ahh, gotcha. I didn't know ORA sold large black and whites. I paid $75 for it btw. Seemed like a good deal.

O man sweet deal.My LFS havent had a clam 4 sale in months.

looks like a really nice baby blue instead of white to me, white is the color of the rock right under the clam no? regardless its a beauty for sure

Maximus, can you take a top down picture? I'm curious to see how they compare to previous batches of Ora B/W that were going for around the same price.

hmmm $75? my friend is an ORA dealer and he said they are more than that his cost...........after a 1-2 year wait.
You scored or they messed up I think! Of course that clam doesn't look like most of the "black & white" maximas i've seen,
Still a nice piece though, congrats!
