I just got a nice orange pavona maldivensis colony and it was starting to bleach 12" under LEDs set at 100% at the LFS. I really liked its shape so I took a risk a bought it.
All other sps in my tank are doing great with LEDs/t5's so what the hell.
I read they are low/mid lighting at some sites while others list it as a high light sps. I just saw a colony about 16" directly under MH and it was thriving, with bright, great coloration.
Do you have a piece and under what lighting? Any tips for success?
I will post mine later today.
Inputs appreciated.
