Please state how many gallons is your tank and what skimmer you use.

20 gallon half cylinder tank with no skimmer.

90g display and 30g sump. don't have one yet but am not against the idea. 2 ocellaris clowns, a coral beauty, a lyretail anthias, and a cleaner shrimp. I did have a sleeper blue dot but havent seen him in a couple of weeks. Is it a bad idea not to have one? Im new to the hobby and dont see the reason to if water changes are done regularly. Someone here will correct me if im wrong.

Money and tank space. Some tanks have lids on so it's very hard to place a skimmer anywhere.

I Just started about a year ago with a 46bf and the stand it was on didn't allow room for a skimmer or sump. My only filtration was a fluval 403 with a surface skimming attachment. It worked great and I wanted something bigger so thats why Im running a 90g with a sump. I started this tank on 2-27-11 and bought it from a friend of mine who was getting out of the hobby. To make a long story short I dropped a lot of cash already and am debating on what to buy next...
