do you have to skim 24/7?

my skimmer ( remora pro ) puts alot of micro bubbles in the tank. i was wondering if i could turn my skimmer off for about 6 hours out of the day when i would be viewing the tank. thanks.

I think that you should run it 24/7. I would try to solve the micro bubble issue. There is probably a thread somewhere that discuss' that problem.

How long have you had the skimmer running? Remora's are known to produce Microbubbles for the first few weeks they are running till they "get broke in" then they are fine most of the time.
