do you name your fish?

Don't have names for all, just a couple that seem appropriate based on their behaviour and to some extent, looks.

My Maroon pair female is Miss Piggy since she eats most anything that drops in during feeding time in all out attack mode. I hardly ever see the poor little male since he spends most of the day behind the BTA rock.

Other than that, only the Lawnmower Blenny has a handle. He looks too much like Homer Simpson sitting there open mouthed and googly eyed, so I occasionally refer to him as Homer.

I do like to refer to the critters using their scientific names, but can't keep most of that in my head. Lucky I have a spreadsheet to keep track of all that data.

Off the top of my head:

premnas biaculeatus
salarius fasciatus

... funny, those are the two I've given non scientific names, a puppet and a cartoon character... go figure.

well my gf likes to name them....

well i dont think she has named the fish yet or hasnt told me.

she named the snails gary 2 and 3. RIP gary 1 died.

And she named the rocks. i have one barney and 2 freds.

And she named all the hermit crabs MR CRABS

And my brittle starfish even though he never comes out is named Patrick.
