Do your fish seem instantly happy with water change?

My fish seem to and also my skunk cleaners seem to go crazy grazing - this is with as little as 10/125 water change?

Is it me or do others see this?

It could be from the increased flow, by pouring or pumping in new water, or if your stirring up stuff on the rocks causing the fish to think it's dinner time.

Mine seem a little confused maybe a little scared. Could have to do with the initial phase of 'water draining' I change 1\3 of my water at a time, I'm not sure they have figured out that I'm not sucking it all out. If I was in a room, and someone started sucking the air out, I might get a little nervous until they started pumping new fresh clean air in.

I and my wife notice the same thing with a 10-20% water change. The fish just seem more active and lively. I think they appreciate the fresh, clean water, like us getting fresh air.
