Do Zoo's dull?

Hi, i have noticed that ever since the first time i got a Zoo they turn dull once they dont open for about a weeks time. I was wondering if there is a care or something that i can feed to change that. Also all my water parameters are fine.

That's quite normal but after awhile:

Its all in finding the correct placement in regards to light==and they all have different preferences
Flow is another considerations===they like lots and lots of flow-20 to 40 times the tank volume per hour

If they are becoming dull, they probably need more light to keep brighter color as long as all other parameters are in check.
