DOC Skimmer 9005 collection cup

Hey Roger what is the diameter of the DOC Skimmer 9005 collection cup. Also what is the recommended water level for top operation. I was thinking about using this in a 40 gal aquarium with built in sump similar to the aqua pods or jbj nano cubes but this will be done on a much larger scale.

It should be submerged about 10", the cup is just a bit under 6.5" in diameter.

No, it is a venturi skimmer.
