DOC Skimmer 9005

I need to put this skimmer to my new acrylic tank..

but the problem is that because of my euro brace..
i can't use magnet to attach in the back..

i have to hang-in somehow......

any idea?

i could do with schuran..but don't know about tunze..

Well, it could be done probably but I wouldn't because I don't think it will look good. What is the width of those braces?

width is about 5inch.......
actually that's why i choose tunze..to hang -in.....

Since you have an acrylic tank it would be easy to drill and install a simple overflow for a sump? If you want 4-sided viewing you could install the overflow in the center of the tank.

With a 5" brace it would be possible to install but it would be a DIY project, basically the clamps at the top would mount as the Schuran does but some bracing would be required at the bottom and to accomplish that I would thread a piece of Acrylic rod to accept a nylon screw and the acrylic rod would serve as the spacer.
