Craig! I didn't know you were looking at the sponges! Damn it. He has a deal where if you buy two they are cheaper. I couldn't have hardly afforded one, but we could have perhaps each gotten one. Then after a little while of letting them settle trade frags. Sigh.
As you can see in the photos below my zoanthids are opening up already, as well as the green star polyps, I brought home. The pictures aren't great because I'm shooting through two separate panes of glass in a qt tank that was filled with algae a week ago at a 45* angle. You can also see the pair of Coral banded shrimp which I hope will make larval for me soon. I want try my hand at raising them.
I wish I could have picked up the other species of coral banded shrimp as well, but I have to save a little room in my bank account for saltines and ramen noodles. I know I’ve said it before, but it’s tough living on a college budget, especially when visiting a candy store like Dr. Mac’s.
