Does a 3/4 gallon count as a nano?

Here is my 3/4 gallon (.75 gallon). It has 3 X 9 watt PC's and a hang-on power filter.
There is a tiny pistol shrimp, some micro stars, a stomatella or two, about 1 pound of live rock, and some mushrooms.

This is the pistol shrimp before I put him in. He is about 1/2" long.

Picture of him with flash...loks like an X-ray.

I will be hooking up 1 or 2 X 1" fan(s) for temp control. There is a reptile type heater glued to the bottom of the tank for heating it at night when the lights are off.

2/4 gallon I think would count more as a pico.

Is a pistol shrimp similar in temprament and behavior to a mantis shrimp?

Pistol shrimp are a more cryptic...they hide more.

It is about 5"-6" cubed. It is an Azoo...meant for holding a freshwater betta (Siamese fighting fish). The lighting is DIY.
No close-ups of the stars but I will see if I can take some.
