Does a Bulb Anemone Split on its own

Hey guys I have a bubble tip anemone that I have for about 4 months. I bought it the size of a golf ball. Now it is almost a the size of a softball.
Today I notice that it has seemed to have split up into two pieces.
Being new to this hobby. My kid, and myself enjoy watching things growing on the rocks, and watching our corals grow.
Is this a common action, and does this mean I have 2 anemone?

One more thing can someone point me to some reading material, about this action.

Yes it is normal and a good way to recover some of that original cost.
