Does anybody have experience with the CPR AquaFuge 2 Hang on?

Those are great fuge's, but you will need macro for pods to eat on and therefore you're gonna need a light of some kind, unless light spill from main tank light happens to hit it enough.

Ah good point. I thought the pods would be fine without any macro. The light isn't too expensive, only 50 bucks. Does it have to be on 24/7 or can I put it on a timer?

I think you can find a light cheaper if you look.
Really opposite of display lights seems best, actually help keep PH from dropping much at night.
24/7 is usually people keeping caulerpa to keep it from going sexual, don't keep caulerpa, chaeto is fine and safer.

I have an older style one and it works great.

Nice, definitely getting it then. From my understanding it uses a fairly silent powerhead to transfer the water?

Ah ok, thanks. I'll go with the chaeto since I don't like the idea of running the light 24/7.

Yep. It's quiet. Pro: easy to install - HOB, no extra plumbing required, quiet pump, durable. Con: hard to clean. Over flowed it once and water went down the wires, shorted the circuit, tripped the breaker, lost electricity for a few hours.
